11 7-11 stores are going to be refurbished as Kwik-E-Marts to coincide with the Simpsons movie:

If all goes as planned, the convenience store chain plans to refit 11 stores across the U.S. — Richmond is an unlikely choice — to resemble the front of the Kwik-E-Mart, the convenience store that Homer and other characters frequent in the classic cartoon TV series.

Customers also will be able to buy products inspired by the nearly two-decades-old show, including KrustyO’s cereal, Buzz Cola and iced Squishees (the cup says Squishee, but the contents will be Slurpee).

The chain also will use pictures of Simpsons characters to promote 7-Eleven’s line of fresh foods, such as placing the face of Homer and his classic “Mmmm . . . sandwich” quip on sandwich wrappers.

So Thora Birch (chick w/ tig ol bitties from ghost world/American Beauty etc…) has a very supportive father in fact so supportive that her dad crashed the set of the new film she is doing and insisted on watching as she performed a intense sex scene. Creepy Dad yelled pointers and best of all is even supposed to resemble a subtle Charlie Manson. Just read what todays New York Post had to say :

“It was so wrong,” said one insider. “The director is saying, ‘Harder! Faster!’ and the father is giving Winters the thumbs up.” Jack Birch was on the set every day giving orders – even telling director Eric Mandelbaum where to place his camera so that Thora would look her best. Mandelbaum was about to shoot the first sex scene Monday when, “all of a sudden, the front door is being kicked in. Her father was threatening to kill the assistant directors. Then he threatens to pull her from the movie with three days of shooting left.” Making matters worse, a problem with the focus on the camera necessitated 14 takes. “It was the most bizarre, perverse scene,” said our witness. “One girl on the crew broke down crying.”

In her Dads defense she does have one of the biggest racks in Hollywood. Side note don’t you think she would tell her Dad to bounce if she felt uncomfortable ? Sounds like they may have some really weird family issues. Sounds kinda fishy..
