As of earlier this week I am now part of the Winners Circle Blah Blog. JR told me to make a post introducing myself so here it goes…
I’m Osiris Navarro, but in middle school some of my friends coined the name “Osiris The Great”. However I am always open to new and clever nick names.
I used to be known for my juvenile antics around the city…ie; dressing up in homeless chic drag, falling asleep on random sidewalks, kicking down signs and street cones, among other intoxicated behaviors. Many people thought it was cute, sometimes even charming, but after one too many damaged stilettos and frequent overdraft charges I decided it was time to invest my energy and time elsewhere. Thus my drunken stupor has come to a halt and these days I try my best to be as productive possible.
Which leads me to the following…
I am a freelance wardrobe stylist, writer, and fashion consultant. My long term goal is to have my own fashion PR agency and represent up and coming lines and manage everything from their branding, event coordination, press placement, and more. However, my current projects include helping with the branding and ad campaign for Gold Coast Trading Company. I am also helping launch and represent Freetime Industries: Lazer Nature, and alas I am doing some work with Seattle Metropolitan magazine.
I am constantly building my portfolio and I team up with other talented individuals in this city. I wish the best of success to all local artists doing their thang. Photographers, clothing designers, graphic artists, and more.
