This morning on my walk to work I was greeted by hundreds if not thousands of idiots. Most of them with their wives in hand with who’s help they have managed to bring into this world a whole new batch of tiny little idiots. In the past this would have filled me with such hate that my insides would have clenched up in a black fist till i found myself gasping for breath. I would have grasped the hilt of the switchblade in my pocket till my hand grew clammy around it. I would have fantasized about the beautiful flow of blood from the line of a freshly slit throat. The sound of a small child’s screams as I crushed there parents skull between my boot and the concrete sidewalk. But not today…

Today is beautiful day in every way. For some reason i feel at peace and happy with every aspect of my life. I can’t seem to stop smiling. Which makes people look at me in an openly distrustful way. All I can think is that they feel that I am (A) high on drugs (B) bat shit crazy (C) just about to run up on them and cut their throat for the contents of there pockets. Anyway, here are a few of the things that have kept me smiling since i have been here at work.

Meghann, the designer behind etcetera jewelry, creates pieces that are unique, eye catching and timeless. She is influenced by her grandmothers native american heritage and strives to instill the same values of story telling, refuse and good medicine, within her work. She is interested in the apocalypse, anarchy and how these things might also be relevent to artmaking.

Above is a test shot her and I worked on last week featuring one of her necklaces. This saturday we are having a photo shoot with models and from then on I will be working on product shots. I feel very fortunate to be involved in the creation of her first look book. I think she has a lot of talent and have no doubt her jewelry is going to be successful.
